Connections to Girder tab
Used to specify the connection between the piers and the girder.
There is one row for each pier (its name/number is written in the first column).
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Type | Type of the connection, it can be defined as rigid or flexible (RIGID or FLEX). Selecting flexible connection type will generate a spring between the girder and the pier, which constants can be defined then in the corresponding fields. |
| To | Specifies the number of the span, which a certain pier should be connected to. |
| Position | Specifies the position within the span (BEGIN or END), at which the pier should be connected. |
| Element | Element number of the (flexible) support. |
| CX / CY / CZ / CMX / CMY / CMZ / DAlpha1 / DAlpha2 / DBeta | Input of the spring constants of the supports. (For further help to this topic refer to RM Bridge User Guides). |
